I feel bad for Pearl and Amethyst in this episode, but mostly Garnet. I mean, when Amethyst said that fusing Garnet would make them stronger, it felt like they were just using her. Garnet is a fusion, but she's also her own person. Not just a fighting machine. Pearl, well, I'm sorry to say this, was selfish. This episode definitely showed their respective relationship. I hope later in the season, there would be an episode about Pearl or Garnet being leaders, and maybe Amethyst feeling better for who she is. I don't know maybe I'm doing crazy talk. Sorry for commenting, please don't hate me
At that moment, she knew Pearl made a mistake. She didn't seem to harrass Pearl about it or anything like that.She really tried to understand why.
"I know what she's doing." She's now beginning to understand why Pearl did it.
"You shouldn't." A line that Amethyst said with much hesitance. Like she didn't want Pearl to get in trouble.

"Wait Garnet! We're so much weaker than you. Fusing with you is our one chance to feel stronger."
That. Right there. She stood up for Pearl. They're bond together has gotten a lot stronger. Ever since the 'On the run' episode, they seemed to have stopped fighting.
Oh and I can understand how Garnet felt in this episode. She felt used. She's already a fusion, so how would it feel for her to know that those times she fused with Pearl, weren't because of a consensual reason. Think about that. She felt used.
Plus the way Pearl gripped her stomach as she watched Sugilite. I've had those moments too. Where I felt like I've upset a person so close to me, that my stomach turns into knots and I have to clench it and stare wide eyed for a bit.
UGH! THIS SHOW FEELS SO REAL! AND THIS EPISODE WAS ONLY 15 MINUTES LONG! YET IT WAS SO GOOD AND SO…GAH!
Ok ok I really like Sardonyx. I'm still not 100% satisfied with her design, but her personality is really fun.
