Everybody's saying that Smash players are going to have trouble with the Street Fighter button inputs. I think both Smash & SF players are going to have some trouble (assuming one has played little to none of the other franchise.) SF players have 4 less buttons to use, so they have to either tap the button or hold the buttons to use their different types of attacks Smash Players have to learn the SF combos and button inputs if they want a strong attack.
Sakura is now god. As a love of Street Fighter and Smash Bros i am absolutely OVERJOYED by this. Mixing the two games in my head is going to be a challenge but my god this is excellent. Combos, focus attack/cancel, command specials, parrying!? Street Fighter/Smash Bros. Hybrid players will wreak havoc on this game xD i'm loving it!
Some things I wonder/noticed: • Will Smash fans be given a guide to Ryu's input combos so that we won't be left in a void? •Ryu proves that Sakurai CAN make characters with good hitstun and combos…I'm just a little sad that Ryu can do what most Smash 4 characters can't. •It looks like Ryu has the most moves/options/combos than any other Smash 4 character. •Ryu looks like he'll be a top tier character.
I want to be hyped for Ryu's inclusion, but I'm a little sad how well he was made compared to other Smash fighters.
Calling it now: Ryu is going to be the next Hoo-Hah. He looks complex but super powerful. Competitive players are going to have a field day with him.
Finally, my experience from playing Street Fighter can carry over to Smash.
Damn. Looks technical as fuck
He looks hard to learn. That's why I want to try
Especially since I've never played Street Fighter, so I don't know the combos
But it looks fun ^^
I feel a disturbance… In my wallet.
Wii Fit Trainer is scary af in the artwork.
Ryu tech being thrown ALL OVER THE PLACE. Whoever mains Ryu will have to be a combination master.

the noobs' nightmare
Ryu has longer hitstun frames than any other character… this man will be a god character in SMash 4's metagame
Y they gotta make him so damn annoying tho?
There are 3 Ryu players:
The casual player who doesn't know or use the combinations.
The player who dominates with the combos.
The Hadoken spammer.
"During battle the music will change when nearing the end of the match. That's new to Smash"
Uhh… Both Mushroom Kingdoms, Mushroom Kingdom II…?
All hail Lord Nintendo, thy will shall be done. Please take my credit card as an offering.
