Roy wasnt a Marth clone exactly, more like a Marth rework. Same exact playstyle but he has normalized damage without a sweetspot at the end of his sword. Marth was better if you could master the sweetspot, but if you couldnt then roy was better.
Taking a look at what you're doing offstage: You keep going way too deep. The thing about Marth, Lucina, Roy and Ike is that you'll want to KO from the stage due to their lackluster recovery options. Marth/Lucy excel at horizontal recovery due to their sick second jump and shield breaker, so getting back to the stage shouldn't be much of a problem as the twins, but Roy as a more diagonal up-special. If you so choose to follow somebody offstage, use one attack and get back, or your KO could turn into your opponent's. Also Flare Blade. All of the flare blade.
In the next super smash I want them to remove the almost copy character like Lucina,Marth and put only Roy or put the new upcoming fire emblem 3DS title main character if he is a swordman.The replacement main character or Roy should have the combined good point of both Lucina and Marth:(meaning he do full damage with the tip of his sword like Marth and full damage with the sword fully touching near the body with close combat like Lucina, both good points of two combined in one Character.

You idiots realize Marth and Roy were in Smash Bros. Melee right? At the same time? Neither of them can be a clone since they kept their own movesets.

Roy is a Marth clone. His moveset is a slightly modified version of Marth's. It's become slightly more different, but it's still practically the same.
