@Nicklaus Ramwa, You are 100% wrong. Taylor battled against Spotify because it did not fairly compensate the artists for their work. She is battling Apple now because they want to give away all artists work for free for 3 months. That is the part she is against. That would be 3 months for EACH person who signs up for the service so if 3000 people sign up in the first day then they get 3 months free and the artists lose 3 months of revenue and each day more people join and they get 3 months from the day they joined and so on and so on until say one year later they stop giving the 3 months free and all artists have lot 15 months of revenue.

Is that simple enough for you to see her point now? Not to mention the number of people who will drop the service after the 3 months free and so the artists lose any potential future revenue from those people. People are more well off than they were twenty years ago and the price of an album has NOT changed so don't give me no bullshit that people can't afford them. No health care should not be free because nobody in the health care field should be expected to work for free regardless of their wealth. Health insurance is what needs to be significantly cheaper or free not health care.

Taylor does not do anything to hold other artists down so she can keep "the top spot". She does more to help other artists than anyone else in the music industry. Taylor Swift is not just a person and an artist, she is a brand and a business. People need to understand that and get over it. She makes money from her music, but it is because of her name that it is all possible.

Fuck No! firstly, yes.. Open heart surgery should be free. Healthcare should be free. Only in America can the argument to let someone die because they cannot afford the surgery be considered normal. Doctors should be compensated, but not dependant on the public. Your attempt to compare Swift with doctors is probably detracting from your overall argument.
Swift has a waged war on the whole concept of streaming, completely oblivious to the majority of the fanbase that simply is not rich. Apple, is notorious for making their own rules…. he pandering to Apple, saying that they have been generous in the past is an example of how bloody out of touch she is. Ask any struggling artist how "generous" or easy it is to have their work listed with iTunes.Maybe Apple had been generous to her and other "entitled" artists.
Fuck, I may actually agree that Apple SHOULD absorb the cost of the 3 months and not withhold copyright/royalty payment from the record labels and artist. But then again, she did wage war on the streaming services that followed that business model. Apple is a big enough company and has a large enough market share to actually fuck over privileged bitches like her. After those 3 months, she would have access to a rather lucrative revenue stream from Apple. And by gauging her popularity, that revenue stream would be sizeable enough to mitigate any losses over 3 months. She is a selfish little girl. She is trying her best to keep her place at the top by ensuring any and all barriers to new music and "competing" artists are in place. To Taylor: Listen bitch, you fucked the Spotify business model by saying it was unfair. Apple has now put a new business model in place. Good Job. Now deal with the consequences of your short-sightedness.
