im sorry ranger fans but i cant imagine the shock and disappointment you all went through knowing you were just one strike away from winning it all TWICE
I watched this live at a bar about 20 miles outside St. Louis. The place was going fucking nuts. About 40 people in that small bar cheering as loud as possible. What a game though.
I'm a Pirates fan, and hopefully the Rangers don't suffer the same fate as the Pirates did. I could very well see the Rangers in a long playoff drought similar to the Pirates and Royals. I could picture the Rangers playing bad for at least another decade and 15-20 years from now Nelson Cruz will still be looked upon as the turning point in the Rangers' fortunes.
P.S. We still haven't fully recovered from Sid Bream even though we broke the streak, so Cruz will have to walk through Arlington with a paper bag over his head from now on.
4:09, if Jack Buck was alive "Freese drives this one back. This is gonna be a home run! UNBELIEVABLE! DAVID FREESE BELTS ONE IN TO CENTER FIELD AND THE CARDINALS WIN 10 TO 9! I don't believe what I just saw! I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW! This is the most exciting moment that I have seen since 1988."

I still get chills watching this!!! GO CARDS GO!!!
The reason why I can't stand Joe Buck is because he shows his bias either for teams or against them.
It was the most exciting comeback of the century, but I think the best comeback is still 2002 game 6 to be honest…
Shittiest call ever for the best game.
Nelson Cruz with the biggest error of his life

Rangers cursed by 71 Senators move that left D.C. without team for years.
Saint Louis was insane. I'll never forget. Perfect baseball city.
I remember watching this game in complete awe. I'm only 21 but that was the best game I'd ever seen in my life
I hate the cardinals
Nelson cruz looks like Immortal Technique lol
