I'd like to revisit some of my exes from HS and ask if they still want David Lee? He hasn't aged too well, too much cocaine I believe. Either way, at this point, I look and sing better. Ha! DLR is a joke and the foo fighters playing VH songs is disgraceful.
I grew up with Van Halen in the 70's and 80's. I saw them live in 83 and would have walked out if I wasn't with friends who were with me. Dave and all of them were so drunk that it was an absolute disaster. Every song break they would reach for the drinks and I was just thinking, "oh shit, don't do that; you're already so wasted that you've ruined my ticket price". I thought that maybe Dave had a bad night. He couldn't sing to save his life. Now, all these years later, it is a clean Dave, yet he still can't sing to save his life. I swear, anyone from the audience could come up and sing better.
Great to see Diamond Dave, like the new dome vs the gay lounge singer hair last tour. And for you haters…go to bed. The man pioneered what a rock front man is. Sorry if at 60 he's not doing air splits anymore. But he's still rocked more arenas and fucked more beautiful girls than most out there.

my only complain ok, 3= hate the shaved head, hate the outfit and hate the gum chewing WHILE singing..but i LOVE Dave, oh he was drunk in a show in 83? well crap he was a world wide superstar since 78 so, wonder why, let's see he's 22 at total stardom, same as the others…immaturity? MUST BE! so at 27, full blown ridiculousness…SO? he wasn seducing pre-pubescent kids like some "king" of pop! he wasn't beating up women, or even CHEATING cuz he wasn married..DLR ur a sex god, and i know, 61, no longer cute, pretty, and voice is scratchy..but WE LOVE YOU!
Dave should be using a walker and he's still out killing it. He forgot the second song was Ain't Talking bout love and he rolls on through. Much respect. Old Van Halen, there is no substitute.
