You ironically forgot to mention the other DCCU films coming out in 017/018… Wonder Woman (2017), The Flash (2018), Aquaman (2018) but of course Grace, I see. ;) AHAHAHAHAH!

Just had this idea right this moment. Imagine a spin off movie based on the plights of Edna. I 99.9% doubt that this will be the sequel buuuuut I think that anyone who enjoyed the Incredibles could attribute their opinion at least partially to Edna.

I would just die in my seat of pure bliss if he comes up with more clever commentary from Edna about modern superheroes.

For me, the best part about the Incredibles is the focus on the family dynamic. You had a high-schooler, a middle-schooler, a baby, and two parents who loved each other a lot but still had some marital problems. I feel like a lot of people could relate to these characters despite them being supers, and I hope they don't lose that aspect. That in itself sets it apart from Marvel movies and the like! My dream for this sequel is to have a time jump, maybe Violet is getting married/having a kid, Dash is fresh out of college. They need to grow up with their audience a bit. Obviously there needs to be kickass villains and fights, but the emotional sides of the Incredibles were just as compelling.

I am BEYOND ready for this film! In fact, why not do everyone one better and give us an accompanying Netflix series since there is a strong demand for this universe. I would love to spend even more time with the Parr family as well as Frozone and Edna.
Also, does Helen/Elasti-Girl's role really have to be beefed up? While the main protagonist for the franchise is Bob, Helen already had a huge role in the first film and I would hate for the sequel to be an unnecessary shift just to give more attention to Helen just to hop on the 'strong female character' trend.

I hope that they pick up right where they left off, and defeat the underminer in the opening sequence, then do a small time jump and continue with a new story. They shouldn't age the kids much, though, maybe a couple years at most.

I'd say he could probably do both, but it would be a sensible move to go Incredibles first. People have been waiting 11 years, 13/14 by the time of the potential release and I feel any longer and people will begin to get annoyed, and perhaps frustrated with him.

Whereas with Star Wars you could release a movie at any point regardless of how poor prior films had been and it will still be financially successful due to the cult following.

I don't really care either way what he does to be honest, another Incredibles movie would be cool but it's just the fact the market for movies is becoming so bloated.

I love this movie! My oldest son is almost three and we watch this movie every weekend at least 3-5 times. The sequel can't come out soon enough! My son loves the opening scene that's a throw back to the old shows like batman, "pow" "bam". He starts throwing his arms and he always asks me "where is my super suit?" Too cute!

The Croods 2… competition to Toy Story 4, How to Train your Dragon 3 and possibly Incredibles 2… I am sorry Grace, but HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm very excited for this incredibles sequel but it should have happened a long time ago. Toy story gets 3 sequels, finding nemo gets a sequel, cars gets 2 sequels, and monsters inc. gets a prequel before the incredibles can even get one.

They have to debut the movie in 2017 because there is no way that they can compete with all those movies in 2018 imo. Shoot might have to do 2019 by the looks of it.
