The truth is, we don't know the answer, and in fact, no one else does either, in spite of what you might hear. I heard an interview on TruNews last night about this (6/26/15) One significant point was the Stars visibility from earth – in 2BC it was visible over Israel and the East, while this appearance will be visible over the US in the West. I don't know if this is "The" Star either, but I'll definitely be watching this beautiful conjunction….hoping for clear skies!
