My oldest son asked me the next morning " Mom, what are we going to do now?" and I told him, "Well, we're going to put one foot in front of the other and do our best to go forward and be as positive as we can , while realizing we r going to trip and fall. So we will have to pick ourselves up how ever many times it takes and we are gonna make it! We are gonna be OK! It will be hard, but we are gonna make it!" We have, ..we r a bit bruised and bumped up in places, but we have made it! Thank u for asking too
We spent a vacation in the Toronto area one yr. It was blazing hot late June here in the 100 degree range. It was nice there and we spent 1 of the 1st days of the season at Canadas Wonderland Amusement Park. It was so fun! I think it was 1996. It was a yr b4 my husband 7yo son died in the accident.. im really glad we took that trip. We had an RV and pulled it all the up there.
Yes! We live about an hour north of Moore/Okc Ok area where they keep hitting and following almost the same path over and over! 3 in the last 10 yrs the 1 last may hit 2 schools and killed several kids and some teachers it was horrible. I lost a child in an acciden in 97 and the moore thing last yr just devastated me all over again. Around the same time we had a bad storm and I was on our covered porch with my husband. The rain splashes up on it when it rains hard. Suddenly lugtening struck just right across the street so close we felt the heat blast off it and smelt it! I jumped straight in the air and was barefoot with wet feet! Good grief im lucky!

I don't recall this….nor do I recall the siren. I didn't live too far from downtown at that time either.
