Werdum did his homework. He earned that title.

He knew the terrain. He knew his enemy. He studied everything. Prepared for every level.

I absolutely thought Cain would destroy Werdum. Werdum trolled us all.

    Well done.

Just when I couldn't like Cain anymore he made no excuses and just said werdum was the better man. When clearly the layoff and altitude were a factor. Cain took the lost like a real man and will be ready next time. Class act

I didn't think Cain could come back off such a long layoff and go through Werdum. Couldn't understand why most thought he would. I think Cain, admittedly a great fighter, is a little overrated by most.

It's always said that "Styles Make Fights," but I think "Situations Make Fights" just as much.

Altitude, Length of Layoff, Injuries, etc ALL played into the situation. Who knows what would have happened in Vegas? Who knows what would have happened at the 1st Mexico City show? It's part of what makes MMA such a special and confounding sport.

It was shocking to see how Werdum was able to beat Cain in the stand up,Werdum proved he's the most complete fighter at HW and this was the best UFC card this year

1st one to beat Fedor, submitting Nogueira – a BBJ legend, knocking out Hunt – a KO artist, now outcardioing Cain, who is a cardio machine… combined with how he jokes all the time and how goofy he is, does that make him the no. 1 p4p troll of MMA?

Dana says he's concerned for Gastleum's health when he cuts down to 170 but then you have guys like Hendricks and Woodley who cut down from around 220 pounds. So what the fuck? Also, where the fuck is that arrogant bitch Rockhold? Talking shit about how easily Cain was going to destroy Werdum and calling Werdum two-faced? I'd like to know his thoughts in the main even lol

Very circumstantial victory for werdum. No excuses its just clear that Cain wasn't in mexico long enough.

Dana talking about fighters deserve to be booed is fucked up!
I hope the UFC goes under and a new mma culture evolves, where the fans behave like they did in Pride.

Altitude is not a valid excuse only because you KNOW out the gate altitude is a factor. So you know you should at least train in Denver or New Mexico if you don't want to train in Mexico, not at sea level. . smh.

but in the reverse Conor is training in Vegas but Aldo is training in Brazil. Does that give Aldo a cardio edge? real question.
