At first I thought, man, Jake is a dick! Then I watched other interviews. He was perfectly awesome in all of them. Then I came back to this one.. and started to notice something fishy. These questions were set up to anger him. I found that this interviewer KNEW the story about jake destroying the merchandise, and purposely asked him about that to piss him off. Jake wasn't absolutely sure, gave him that distrusting look. Other then that question, the interview was mostly fine, but he had already set him off, so when he asked why he wasn't happy, he responds letting the interviewer know hes watching his questions carefully now since he knows he's a dick. Then the fucker says child stars tend to go to drugs. WTF?

Yeah, this was the interviewers fault.

Wow!This guy should never interview anyone ever again,he is more horrible at interviewing than George Lucas is at making Star Wars movies now.

He's a good guy that was pulled into a mess of a movie at a young age. I hope he does some great work in his film career so he can show his talents.

I wonder if anyone has ever gone up to him and said they were sorry for him and how he had to deal with all that crap after Episode 1.

min 1:50 " I dont think pullin "The Force" card with the ladies would be such a good idea…."

Nothing "awkward" here. Jakes friggin HILARIOUS!!! Lucas should reach out to Lloyd…Could open A LOT of doors for him. proly has already. I feel this guyz going to come out with something spectacular. Jakes emphasis on editing tells me theres a Lucas connection there somewhere since editing is also George Lucas major forte. The original Star Wars IV was ALL pace, all editing. In the end. thats what film IS, editing.

I really can't stand interviewers that are so souless and without class. Instead of engaging in real dialogue, he's actively trying to humiliate and get a rise out of Lloyd. This is the same despicable behavior we see in the worst kind of paparazzi.

The interviewer is a douche. He was fine. You tried to make him awkward but he just dodged it fairly well. Just a clickbait headline. Good for Jake.

All this hate on Jake Lloyd was unwarranted. He wasn't a bad actor in the Phantom Menace. He wasn't good either. He was just the average kid actor, who gave a regular performance. And people complaining about the "yippee"? Sure, it might've been a little awkward, but the boy was just excited to finally go home. Kid's a slave, remember, so is his mother, so after a hard day of work, what the fuck is wrong with a yippee when you are dismissed?! I might be the only one in favour of Jake Lloyd, but at least that's better than being (a) brainless sheep.

The interviewer was a fucking idiotic, mongoloid piece of Taun Taun shit and deserves to be fucking napalmed to death. Purposedly aggravating the guy and then uploading a shitty video called "Very very awkward interview". Now THAT was the only thing cringy and awkward about this video. Hope the guy finds his way in life and hopefully people STOP reminding him of Star Wars in such a bad manner. Disgusting and repulsive, this was to watch. Not pleased, I am.

I read the comments before watching and assumed jake would be misunderstood in the interview but uh… seems like he was stand offish right from the get go and kind of being an asshole.

I disagree about the "force card." Saying you're into Star Wars isn't going to get you that many girls, that's true… but saying you were IN Star Wars is going to get you laid. If I could play that "force card," I'd tell people that before I told them my name.
