Seeing that the female reporter botched this up, don't forget there's MEN in the job too!! I joined a major airline in 1974 and retired in 2010…Yes it is a lot of physical training and you have to keep in focus… I loved what I did but sometimes I wanted to run away because of the stress….I learned you don't let the stress get to you…I had to put up with rude passengers, sick passengers, passengers who needed help in medical emergency, I had to help deliver a baby on board, ( I'm also an RN) but I had my pleasant flights as I used to say…..I am offended by this woman reporter leaving out men!!!! SHAME ON YOU!! Men f/a's go through the same thing…people still think f/a's are the gorgeous women which they are not!!!! A lot and I mean A LOT of changes have developed…..flying is not what it used to be!! Still think it's easy to be a f/a?? Good luck! The reason I became one is I like to help people, and I like challenges. As the f/a said in the video, not everyone can handle it….I was one of those f/a's that handled it… I became a f/a supervisor in 1980, and became a purser in 1990. But still as a purser you have a lot of respondsibility!
Very interesting. I'm a flight attendant and I'm thankful you promote some other parts of our job. Just… It's been decades since it stopped being a job only for women.
i wonder how many men hit on those woman?. i am going in training next month. i am sure i well love it :).. are they allowed too hook up with those woman?. are they gone 247?. i would love it. see every thing just a short amount of time :).
