Her dad ( Ray Chadwick) is still in Canada and coaches baseball in Kamloops,B.C. Most of the N.F.L.`s first black quarterbacks got their first professional jobs in Canada because of racial issues in the U,S, (things havn`t changed much) Many black pro athletes that came to Canada stayed here and became citizens. Sydney`s racial statements don`t add up.

This video tells one side of the story….her`s, She plays the race card but I don`t buy it. There is one dark skinned player on the U.S. team. Her. Look up Canada`s team roster. Get my point? I think she was a self centered 14 year old that got her nose out of joint because the other players on her team didn`t show adoration for her so she had a hissy fit and ran away. Good riddance.

Okay, I cant say I believe a word she says. She says she stopped wanting to play for Canada because they were mean to her, and then the next sentence says how it was her dream to play for the U.S. all along. So maybe they didnt like her because they knew she didnt have her heart in it representing her country or maybe she made it up to get herself sympathy. In almost all of her interviews she says she wanted to play for the best team to prove she could make it. The world cup is about representing your country not chosing the team you think has the best chance of winning or that you think youll have a harder time making. What really gets to me is she had to find her estranged father to get him to sign her U.S. citizen forms, that was her only tie to the states.
