Perhaps, insensitive, shallow, insincere feedback can produce authentic followers of Christ; followers with hearts swelling with compassion for others who are hurting. I say this because, sometimes we have to be rudely awakened to certain realities before we will make an effort to do something about them, e.g., We may say, "Lord God, please help me not to be like those who have hurt me with their careless, insensitivity toward my pain. Make me a gentle healer; like You."
At 2:45 "to give permission to argue with God"……hmmmmmm, not much of an argument to be had if you think the other party is inerrant and omniscient….does the whole thing not sort of break down for folks right there??
