I remember watching this back in '62 when I was 13 years-old! Thought it was pretty funny then and I liked Marty Ingels, but now it's hard to watch. I can see why it didn't stay on the air very long! If the entire american t.v. audience was 13, Dickens/Fenster would have been a big hit, but there are adults too and I can see why most didn't think this show was funny. It's really kind of blah. Best thing about it is seeing Yvonne Craig and what Mrs. Bellows looked like just three years earlier!

So very nice to see a young Yvonne Craig!!!! Now, THAT is the way a woman should fill out a dress!!!! YOWZA!!!
I think this was also the year she played one of Elvis' girlfriends in, "It Happened at the World's Fair". She sure was a looker!!!!

My favorite sitcom ever. Well, I was eleven then, but guess I knew greatness when I saw it. John Astin was the very best sitcom actor ever.

One of my earliest TV memories. Our family never missed it, and it goes a long way in explaining why I became a complete ADDAMS FAMILY fanatic. My God, Frank DeVol was in this? That might explain why I became a FERNWOOD 2NITEfan.
The true roots of my dementia starts here.

Arch's girlfriend with the "hat" in part 1 is the exotic Vitina Marcus who is best know as the Green Lady from Lost In Space. Yvonne Craig delivers the topper line in part 3.

This series was the creation of comedy legend Leonard Stern, who wrote most of Jackie Gleason's "HONEYMOONERS" sketches in the '50s {among his contributions, he co-wrote the famous "$99,000 Answer" episode), "THE PHIL SILVERS SHOW", and later produced "GET SMART". This pilot episode, "A Small Matter Of Being Fired", first aired on September 28, 1962. Emmaline Henry (later of "I DREAM OF JEANNIE") is a co-star…
