I love Avatar <3 It really sucks that we had to give the DVD back to our aunt and we are waiting for sales at the book store so we can buy it :/ It's my fav film I could watch it all day, everyday
Avatar has hidden signs (some not so hidden) about at least the perspective of life, beauty of life, consciousness, the collectiveness of the world…
Great movie.
In movies things are just exaggerated, but you can actually see how life works in them. Google truthcontest to learn about life the first time and how to see the many subconscious messages in movies, like Avatar, Star Wars, Wizard of oz, American beauty
Gotta love how the second Avatar hasn't even come out, but Cameron already has the script for Avatar 5! XD Seems he is REALLY invested in these and wants to do a lot of world building before he makes the other ones.
This is the difference between James Horner and John Williams. James Horner writes great soundtracks, but they all sort of sound the same. If someone just played you one random section of this soundtrack, you probably wouldn't know whether it was Titanic, Avatar, or any other of his movies, especially during the action sequences. But you could pretty much play any random section of a John Williams soundtrack, and you know exactly what movie it's from. John Williams writes for the movie in question. James Horner just writes James Horner music. It's great music, but it's not as iconic.
It's hard to realize there will never again be music that pulls you in so emotionally close to a movie without even fully understanding why. James Horner was one of a kind and his music will only become more legendary after his death. RIP.
Can't wait for Avatar 2 to come out! AHH
