Sunny Hostin, you're an idiot. I'm black and black people like Sunny get on my last damn nerve! You usually find an Army of Sunny's on the campus of a historically black college. I don't normally agree with Don, but Don is right on this one!
"Words matter." No they don't. It's a 2word. A fucking word. Words are not offensive in and of themselves, its the context behind the word tat is offensive. "Nigger" is not an offensive word by it self, its the racist asshole using it as an insult u should be worried about
I hardly ever agree with her point of view, but I happen to agree with Sunny this time, I have used the word between 5 and 10 times sinceApril 4, 1968 and I'm sorry it was that many times
It is either a deeply offensive word,or it isn't.Make up your mind! If it IS a deeply offensive word then NOBODY gets to use it! I do not understand the difference between having a "Word" that only certain specific people can use,and having a "Water Fountain" that only certain specific people can use. Surely Logic & Ethics suggest that.. A)Nobody gets to use the deeply offensive word. B)Everybody gets to use the water fountain.
"it is out job [as a journalist] to realize that certain words should not be used" That's god damned mad. Don was spot on saying that its a journalists job to provide the truth, the honest, unbiased, unfiltered truth. It is not the medias responsibility to tell us what words to use and what words to avoid.
The president used the word appropriately in context. I agree with you Don, doesn't happen a lot but I'm glad you help your ground on this issue.
We the Black People would like to trade Sunny Hostin &Christon Scriven for Johnny Manziel & Rachel Dolezal
I actually agree with Don on this one.
Hopefully they won't say 'Voldermort'.
Don Lemon actually was in the right here lol. His argument was weird, but it made sense.
Two sellouts debating with one another…. funny and dumb at the same time!

I'm surprised that Don didn't bitch slap Sunny.
Oh lawd, I think hell froze over. I actually agree with Don. Context is important, intent is important.
