I just noticed, if you look at the monitor about 2 minutes in on Part 3, you can see a "Number of Contestants Used" table, with specific headings for "Male Minority" and "Female Minority". I'm wondering why that would be the case; would it be a pre-meditated method of creating a balance of white and non-white contestants, is it necessary to know this information for tax purposes, or is there a law stating that there must be a "quota" of sorts of minority contestants?

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but wasn't this the only Game Show Hall of Fame special that GSN ever aired? If so, it seems sorta weird.

Note about Part 7 mentioning the time limit: this was taped a long time ago before season 7 and its rules were even thought of.

Contestants actually were under a time limit after the first few seasons, but it was never made public or announced. Rumors say it was around 10 minutes and the producers would jump down your throat if you took too long.

That's just info taken from forums though, so take it for what it's worth. But many have said the earlier seasons did have a "hidden" time limit.

It wasn't even close to giving away a million dollars first, if my memory is correct. "The $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime," "Twenty-One," (The revival), "It's Your Chance of a Lifetime," and "Greed," (FOX, I command you to bring it back) all gave away a million dollars or more, and "The $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime" offered the prize first, too.

@mecha03 So how did the "hidden" time limit work? Would the producers come on the megaphone and say that they should make a final answer or end the game?
