Brent always looks to Jerry, like an affectionate puppy might. Jerry said they really connected. But, then again, Jerry was a conductor for the whole band. Instead of a baton, he used eye contact and a lifting guitar. Sorry. I could write about these boys all day. So, so great.
I really think this is a great performance, but I have not been into them for so many years. Are there any deadheads here? On a scale 1-10; where would you put this performance?
Didn't this turn up as a King Biscuit Flour Hour? I remember spending NYE with another couple with the sound on and the PPV scrambled getting ready to go to a party. Then recording a cassette off KBFL later on.
When Push Comes To Shove is one of their songs I always wish they had played more. It's a great groove and I've rarely seen or heard one Jerry wasn't really into.
Most important moment: 2:19:10. Guy in audience, top left of frame, arms straight out then behind head. That's me! My 5th of 42 shows. If I had any memories of it I wouldn't trade 'em for the world
This video is from the DVD release. – I have uploaded Bill Graham's midnight entrance and Ken Kesey's Shall We Gather at the River, both of which were left off the DVD

Keep It positive … my brother and sisters
One of my favorite Bertha's of all time. Great jamming, but also Jerry looks like he's having fun!
these short interviews are precious! nobody knows they're comin'. love the boys discussions.
