1:20:30 God, that transition from DS–> El Paso….

Bobby bends, feedback howls, Phil pounds, Jerry descends deeper into chaos.
And from the madness, comes order.
Ventana on that day,a microcosm of the universes creation.

    Fuck, i'm so high.

"Hey hippie are you gonna leave?"
    "Namaste"

One of the best shows of '72 (or any year really), but I still miss the hell out of Pigpen. Thanks for the upload!
BTW, THIS is the sound of thick air.

Cant believe the family did all that work for that show. Thats awesome. Nice chops Bobby. lol Several Neal shots from 25:52 where hes showing off for some ladies until 27:50 or so. Quick shot of Kesey playing the flute too.

OMG, and there's Donna, she started harmonizing with Jerry at 1:42. She was on key, sounded great there. Good energy that day. Donna honored my daughter's birth at Kaiser Hospital, Vallejo, CA, on 7 May 1990. That was during her pentecostal religion phase. But it was TOTALLY MARIN to join a cult or sect back then (See the movie SERIAL to understand); and she has nothing to be ashamed of for it. We all were freaks, sometimes Jesus Freaks.

Sorry for so many posts all you people. But this vid has so much more than meets the eye/ear at first sight. That old keyboard (Fender/Rhodes? I forget now) Keith was playing, my best friend Steve Reyes bought it from Donna around 1983. He used to carry it to church youth group in the case that said "Property of the Grateful Dead." This one vid is bringing so much joy!

Thanks for sharing. Saw the Dead a month or two after this, and hit the ecstatic experience via music threshhold. No drugs, just the band in a 2000 seater hall in Milwaukee. Never been the same since.
