As a Australian I am ashamed of Julian Assange for his recklessness and arrogance, but I look at Snowden and I see a patriotic freedom loving Yank, yes he made mistakes but his intention was to stop the USA from becoming a police state. Sadly he may never return to his homeland.

if you watch Edward Snowden you can see his faith in humanity slowly dying, i pity him.

He lasted so long before it was revealed to him that we are all ass-holes

You can see the sorrow in eyes when John shows him the recordings of people in NY asking if they knew who he was. It's so upsetting how uneducated Americans truely are. This man is a hero for this country. He gave up so much for us just to have him be forgotten. Well, if you ever see this Mr. Snowden, there are people here in this country, who appreciate what you did and what you sacrified to give awareness.

I wish John Oliver took the interview more seriously. I get that he's a comedian and all that, but he's one of the only people that actually got an interview with Edward fucking Snowden. I really wanted more detail and seriousness out of Snowden's end, but Oliver just wouldn't allow that.

John Oliver is funny but I would have liked him not to interrupt him so much just to make a joke. Let him fucking speak.

Interview med Edward #Snowden incl. (satirisk) gennemgang af bla. Section 215 i Patriots Act. Historien er at denne skændsel for menneskeheden udløber 1. juni 2015 hvis ikke den bliver forlænget – lad os se hvordan de forholder sig til det…

A lot of that interview was unnecessarily harsh towards snowden, but the takeaway "make the American people understand it better" is fantastic

John Oliver talks (shortly) about surveillance and responsibility with Edward Snowden, and then (when you're wondering WTF is he doing interviewing Snowden) proceeds to explain the NSA programs with mind-blowing clarity.

    +Ferran Ferran, I think you'll like it ;)
