I'm not sure how anyone can say 96 was was the best draft when the 84 draft had legends that still have a lasting impact on the game. The 84 draft had four Hall of Famers(Jordan, Hakeem, Barkley and Stockton) and the 96 draft had four futur Hall of Famers (Iverson, Bryant, Allen and Nash) But, really, all you have to do is look at the names of the 84 class (Jordan, in particular) and you'd know which class had the most impact on the game of basketball. IMO, only Kobe could truly be mentioned among the legends from that 84 class. I think the guys from the 96 class were great, amazing players, but only Kobe achieved legend status. In my humble opinion.
Ha, and people thought Joe Smith would be bigtime…
I think it's the best draft in history as well.
