RIP, Frank…I was born in '54, and my earliest recollections of pro football from '58 were my uncles and dad saying how your football Giants would take Baltimore in the title game-oh, well! You're still top rank. Many condolences to Kathie and the family from Louisville.
Rest In Peace Frank Gifford, from football fans everywhere. Might I just also mention that the team you like holds no weight in this. You do not have to be a fan of the Giants to appreciate him, and mentioning your team is basically making it about your team, when we should all be celebrating his life and his memorable hall of fame career.
NEW YORK — Jack Nicholson said Sunday that he "warned" NFL Hall of Famer Frank Gifford. The 78-year-old Oscar winner was dining at the Wolseley restaurant in London when a photographer told him about Gifford's death. After saying, "That's awful," Jack added “I warned him," but refused to elaborate.
For the sake of football, let us pray Frank Gifford just called a play in a "hurry up huddle" in Heaven, and they're waiting on the 11th man: John Madden. Amen.
I wasn't a fan, but he was a human being regardless. So may he rest in peace.
Whooooo nelly !!!!! Price of football history gone r.i.p
