The best Eyes of the World I have heard, is from Roosevelt Stadium, 1974. The show is posted on You Tube; iz 3hr. show. Eyes of the World is always so beautiful! 'Eyes', with Marsalis, is great. Please, beforethis gets knockeddown, give a listen to Eyes of the World, Roosevelt Stadium, 1974. I love this tune so much, I have Eyes of the World back to back from different shows, on a CD I made and could listen to ALL the Eyes of the World back to back to back from show to show to show. 1974 "Eyes…." is grandeur!!
A tad to much medicine pre-show guys…caput mortuum, caveat emptor. I wish I'd been there anyway…but more at Avignon in fall '80. Cariad fach, j'taime, I'm searching for de-creep elixir. Rx
Hard to believe this is from a 2 track recording. 8/27/72(sunshine daydream) was a 16 track recording, hence why it's so spectacular. Just imagine if there were a 16 track recording of this! Or even 8! I believe the European shows were mostly 8 tracked. Hence the clarity. This is AMAZING for a deuce!
Like the mix. Jerry git left; Bob git right; Phil bass middle. One of the things I like about GD is the way Jer and Bob's guitar parts play off each other and work with Phil's bass. Really easy to hear it all with this mix.

This is great but Aug 74' at Roosevelt is one of my all time fav shows. Its cookin, and Keith is in his prime.
My first show was Raceway Park, Englishtown NJ. 1978 Tripping my Nuts OFF!
I am Grateful to Not be dead
Can this music be purchased? I would like this in the car for cruising. Cool and real good music.

big river johnny cash track is great. i'm listening from st paul and can see the Mississippi river from here too.
hey Lizzie, thats a great show! 70's eyes with Donna are tremedous. She really fit in with the band. Female accompaniment was definitely appropriate.
