We are in South Wenatchee (beyond the left side of the video) but it's still nerve wracking to see. We will see by morning if my sister's work survived. She works in the office of Northwest Wholesale and my family is still unsure what part of it is/was on fire.

It's scary to know that chunks of smouldering wood are making it over the Columbia River into East Wenatchee. This is not going to be a fun few days, especially with thunderstorms expected tomorrow. >.<

I remember the '94 fire when I was in high school. we were living up Squilchuck and had a level 3 evacuation. Pretty dang scary but everything turned out fine. I still remember the sun being absolutely blood red.

I was on the trail by the river pretty close to where they went off from and it was LOUD! Scared the crap out of me and my friend. EEEESH! I hope everyone was cleared from there before whatever happened happened.
