    He plays ClearTones. Which are a coated string. So the tonal difference between non-coated and coated may be why you say that.

    Bill is a really nice guy! He is the only professional guitarist i now, that will actually talk to his fans. He is an amazing guitarist. My band actually cover E.G.O at one of our shows and it was a huge hit! He is a very talented guy.

    That would be because of the room mic, and the gauge of pick. When you play heavy handed like that with a high gauge pick it's impossible to have a low action and not have fret buzz.
