I hate how he kept calling himself fat. He just suppressed it all and went into funny mode. It's okay to acknowledge the problem, but knowing the issues he faced, I just feel bad for him.
So sad watching this interview, i don't find it funny because it's clear as day that he is high as a fucking kite. He died December of 1997, so this was, I'm sure, one of the last interviews. He was such a mess, watching this was like watching a car crash. He was such a funny guy, he didn't need to try as hard as he did, it was natural for him. The funnier the person, I feel, the more demons they have. i grew up watching his comedy….SNL, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, everything in between, he was just a genius. Reminded me of Belushi, who died the exact same way years before he did.
I think maybe if he had someone to love, maybe things would of been different? Hard to tell, since the night he died, he was with a hooker. It's sad. I think maybe…that maybe he thought that everyone was laughing AT HIM, not WITH HIM? Who knows, we'll never get to see him do Lunch Lady Land or do stupid skits with David Spade anymore. Drugs fuck up everything. Sad that he couldn't see that he had a lot of people who loved him.
