Yeah…..now that I think about it, SOMETHING was DEFINITELY missing here in the airplane scnee…the PILOT…yep, Snug shouldve been here…
Also, this scene shows Syndrome's ultimate cruelty and his willingness to KILL innocent peop as well as kidnap in the last scene of the movie as well….

Considering the fact that Helen had a look of shock on her face mid fall. One would come the assumption that she had forgotten what edna said about the costume`s and just went on instinct to protects her kids and risk facing death. I say because while they were falling she looked surprised after she woke up and pulled her self together. That`s my view it wasn`t just for theatrics people.
Don't get me wrong violet was one of my favorite characters but if she respects her mom so much and does what she says, y would she repeat her previous command of not using powers in a time when she is now asking her to use her powers. I know she was probably saying that she hasn't practiced enough to make a force field that big but she could have said that. Hmm oh well she just frustrated me throughout the whole movie with not using her powers. And yet she'll go invisible when a boy looks at her. >.> DONE! Lmfao the mind of a teenager and im one of them
