What is the best and quickest ferry to use to drive from England to Verona Italy? I actually want to drive from Cambridge all the way to Verona Italy but i am not sure of the best or quickest ferry to use, i have been told to use different one like Eurotunnel, Harwich, or Dfds seaways. Can someone advice me of the best and quickest one to use please?
Thanks for posting this. Im going from the UK to Lithuania in 2 days and I was nervous about taking the Euro Tunnel. Especially as i have my pomeranian with me. This has helped calm the nerves. Thank you!
Enjoyed watching this, have been a foot passenger but always wondered how cars got on. Could do with this to cross the Cook Straight here in New Zealand.
as he said, if you book online the terminal already knows who you are ie, name and car registration, you just have to press yes to confirm its you…. you only have to be there during boarding so turning up 15minutes before departure is acceptable, i once turned up collected my ticket and was directed straight to an empty queue with the barrier already open..this guy has been lucky and has driven straight to the queue, and is lucky to have other cars infront leading the way, on at least 4 occasions i have driven in circles as the road layout and signs are not well displayed, the price he has quoted is the cheapest bottom end, the average lowest price at stupid o'clock now costs around £75 each way, although a day return is quoted at just £45 which is way cheaper then a single, but i heard they charge your card for an extra fee if you do not return on that day return ticket and can charge you upto £120 for the single, so be aware if you think you can do it cheap by getting a day return out and a day return back, to be honest, i think its a con to charge more for a place on a train for a single than for the same place on day return……. remember the journey takes 35 minutes, you can be on the train for upto an hour, there was an incident in the tunnel on one crossing and i was on the train for 90minutes.
Glad to help

How to use the EUROTUNNEL: buy the ticket online 24 ours before or the price is more than twice!
