It's Zayn's life, so no one can control it. With a lot of tours going on, it's true that Zayn doesn't have much time for other events or family. I think everyone needs to accept Zayn's decision and move on.

What the hell, if Zayn wanted to spend time with his family he could have just taken a break from the band instead if just quieting. There has to be a real reason to him quieting the band, i'm really tired of hearing these BS excuses.
I think Zayn is a jerk for leaving 1D, cause there are lots of fans out there that ove him and want him to stay in the band, their hearts are broken cause they wished of seeing the whole band on their first 1D concert, but their wishes won`t come true. I`m proud that my idols actually LOVE their fanbase and won`t harm them in a way Zayn did.
I get what people are saying: if Zayn's writing and working on solo stuff that seems to contradict his reason for leaving (spending time with family) but I do think Zayn was telling the truth. The thing is, apparently he can't release music for 2 years because of contractual obligations but also, as massive as his solo stuff will be, it stands to reason that it won't be as intense as 1D. I mean they were living the dream but if you stop to think for a minute about how much they did on a daily basis it really is insane! Good insane but I can't imagine how full on and tiring it must be. If he can't release for two years he can take his time writing and recording, do it on his own terms and maybe he feels the spotlight will die down a bit. I also get the feeling he wants to make slightly different music and have more freedom with being able to write and produce and stuff. Whatever I'm super happy Zayn is happy and feeling like he is getting to do him, good for him. I really feel like whatever he does in the future will be wicked
NO… Did anyone else hear the part where Liam said that Zayn simply stopped enjoying his job? That means that he genuinely didn't enjoy touring at all (which is fine by me cause he was being honest). It's important that one loves their job, duh Zayn missed his family and Perry… all the boys do. He wanted to move on with a different job that didn't involve touring with 1D just accept that even though its heartbreaking.
