I adore mass effect But I struggle to understand how humans could be in another galaxy from the first and not hear about the reapers. That is if it's not in the future. This game also makes the reapers' plan somewhat pointless because if the reapers aren't in this galaxy then they haven't been harvested every 60000 years or whatever. So their technology should be much more advanced but we see a standard omnitool at the end. We SHOULD see about 5x the races in this galaxy too considering how they've never been wiped out, prometheans included. Do humans even have the technology to make it to Andromeda? Unless this is set many, many years after 3, they shouldn't. Because every race was dependent on relays in getting around their own galaxy that they didn't even build!
I hate it when, to continue a franchise, we have to pretend the previous events never happened
