The kind of emotion from this video and Mr Itoi is why the majority of Japanese game design will always be superior to the American AAA garbage that comes out today. I understand it's a business and you have to make money but it seems it's more about money and less about making something that people will love or taking a risk.
Mr. Itois final message showed what the difference between games that last a consoles lifetime and games that last forever is: He made a game the way he wanted it. It was his dream. Not something that was focus-group tested, mass marketed or overly trendy at the time. And people stil regard it as one of the best games ever made. Because it was made with passion and love for his work, and it shows.
Thank you Mr. Itoi for all these hours of entertainment. I have no doubt that your works legacy will outlive us all
Just watching this and listening to Mr. Itoi makes me happy. I can just hear and feel the love he has for the series he put so much care into. I really feel that its that love that keeps so many of us playing this series over and over again, you can feel it when you play Earthbound.
So this happens when Mr. Itoi stops uploading pictures of his dog on twitter
Btw how muchbis it gonna cost?
Japanese :エンディングまで泣くんじゃない
Romaji : Endingu made nakun janai
English:"No crying until the ending"

Please, Mr. Itoi. Bless us with another game! ;_; Such a talented creator with such a unique flair for game design.
