I just found him in Aliens Colonial Marines. While I realize him ending up as all victims of the Xenomorphs usually end up is probably what would've happened, it would've been far more fitting to find him dead in a corner, huddled by piles of dead Xeno's, his rifle clutched to his chest with his cold dead hands.

When you're lost, alone, and feeling hopeless.
When you're knee deep in the dead, your sonic electronic ball breaker clutched tightly against your chest.
When you're four weeks out, but it feels like an eternity.
When you just want to bug out and call it even.

Remember William Hudson. Friend. Brother. Ultimate Bad Ass.

    Man.

Imagine in colonial marines you found a camera feed of Hudson making his last stand killing every alien for his fallen brothers and sisters! Ultimate badass!

You really don't see him get killed. They should make a video game – where Hudson gets pulled under the floor and knocked out – the alien drags him back to where some eggs are in another part of the complex. Hudson wakes up and escapes. The rest of the game is him fighting the aliens trying to get to a ship the colonists had stashed away. Hire Bill Paxton to do all the voice work. The game would be epic. Aliens – Game Over Man

That's the Paxton style: He'll be afraid, he'll whinem he'll die. But it will always be in a badass blaze of glory!

I can relate to Hudson a lot. I can be cocky at times and I would loose it if I saw half of my friends die in front of me. But I can pull myself together and help everyone else. I would have survived though……..

I love how much depth Aliens 2 had, how the ensemble cast didn't suck, were badasses, good actors. The character development in Hudson was always prime. So many layers to what was the most amazing Action movie of my childhood, and still is one of my favorite movies of all time. Both Hudson & Gorman's "Redemption" taught me much and it almost brings a tear to my eye to discuss it with all of you and see how I wasn't the only one deeply involved in his evolution throughout the film. They need to continue this Universe. Why can't they give Colonial Marines a "Starship Troopers" style treatment for a 3D Rendered Television series? I mean, with different marines, different scenarios, same universe. There was so much awesome to this Universe they crafted that they didn't explore.

A few questions come to mind here. How did Hudson miss the alien that was pulling him down? Acid or not, why didn't hicks or Vasquez try to shoot the alien? They both had time to try to pull him up why not shoot? This scene pissed me off so much because hicks should have died not Hudson :(
