I would say McFarlane has not come close to South Park. Yeah most parents don't care and will take kids to movies that kids shouldn't be at. Great review but I'll wait till video. =) =) =) =) =)

The part when Ted starts singing in court makes me want to sue the movie for being so fucking retarded.

Edit: it was south park that raised the bar for adult cartoons..

"Who doesn't enjoy a good Family Guy episode?" (slowly raises hand)

With that being said I did enjoy the first Ted. I won't watch this in theaters, but I'll wait it eventually.

I agree that while Ted 2 was entertaining, it was still a 2 hour episode of Family Guy. But I disagree about the Comic Con segment. I've never been, but I'm still fond of the genre material that is promoted there, yet I wasn't offended. To me, It's not like when Simon Pegg had his harsh words about the fanboy community. Great review, though!

@beyondthetrailer/grace I enjoy your reviews and watch them often but more recently you've been doing this thing in were you don't give things away but you do at the same time, for example in this video you are talking about a joke that made you laugh the most which was fine but then you began to set out the scene in where the joke is delivered so when I go to see the film in the back of my mind I'm going to be looking for the set up and probably miss the joke.

If in the future you are just more careful that would be great I hate to be that viewer but it's happened a few time and I though you should know thank you.

That joke that you loved so much about the porn on Wahlberg's computer was incredibly transphobic. It's sort of ironic that this movie that seems to parallel the fight for same-sex marriage rights would throw in such a disgustingly hateful, dehumanizing joke at the expense of a segment of the LGBT community.

And yet, you were offended about the comic convention jokes.

If you can't laugh at yourself then you don't have the right to laugh at anyone else, simple as that =-)
