    What breaks my heart the most is that he died when he was being criticized for a bad E3, poor Wii U sales, and negative Federation Force reviews.. If we had known he would've died yesterday, we would've made him happier..

    Seems like just yesterday I was hearing his voice say "But that's not all of the new content we are offering, please take a look at this." And then Lucas was announced. He will be dearly missed and remembered for all of his contributions.

    I believe Daddy Sakurai should become President and continue Iwata's vision that he has had all these years. I'm gonna miss that guy and all of his "please understand"

    Please, enjoy your eternal rest. You helped shaped many fans of Nintendo and you helped us understand the world better through Nintendo. Even though we are sad for your loss but we are happy that you were part of our lives.

    Rest in Peace, Satoru Iwata. ;/)~(;

    My heart sank immediately after reading the title. I am at a loss for words. May he rest in peace. Nintendo means a lot to me and losing the top guru at Nintendo is really hitting me hard. May he rest peacefully. His memory will live forever in our hearts.

    May his greatness live on and rise for a new dawn. Iwata is the reason Nintendo is the better company of gaming. Iwata helped create a lot of today's many iconic characters. Nintendo doesn't pay much of even a single eye about fancy graphics and/or money like Sony and Microsoft do, Nintendo stands at the precipice of family and entertainment with Iwata as their compass. Even though Iwata has passed, his greatness will live on in the staff of Nintendo and bring them to greater heights.

    I'm sure Mr. Iwata had a smile on his face as he heard the ambulance coming to take him away as it went "Wii U Wii U Wii U Wii U".

    My friend told me "I mean it's sad and all but it's not like he raised you and took care of you."

    And it made me think, he basically did raise me. He shaped my childhood, Kirby, earthbound, Pokemon. He shaped the way I view video games and I probably would have bin stuck buying call of duty sequels and assassins creed, eating that up. But nintendo is what allows me to see the fun in what games can be regardless of the age group.

    Fuck man…
