I just watched the 20/20 program on the Angulo family. Thanks so all so much for sharing this incredible story with us. Those young men are truly amazing and I wish them a world of happiness and success.
Earth is an apartment purgatory. Is confining humanity to it abuse or neglect? Are parakeets abused because they're in cages instead of aquariums? Are goldfish neglected because they don't fly so they're put somewhere where they can swim? I want freedom too but not because I'm a film buff, au contraire, I'd rather see Hollywood and all of it's rich people blown to smithereens. Viva la cut, print, that's a wrap.
I don't get what everyone is moaning about here…I can understand every word she said, and she's not there to sell her movie, or to direct every scene for you, she's there to 'chat' about it and the background. I'll definitely be going to see your film Crystal, looks fascinating. People need to learn a bit of humility and gratitude that we have so much on offer to us…you're watching this for free!! and as for people asking where can I see this…how about going to the cinema. It's a film. They have them there……..
I think the snark factor in these comments is due to the age of the director. It is hard to fathom (from the way she speaks and presents herself) that she would be interesting enough herself to make an interesting movie. BUT…. I have the same gripe about nearly every millennial I've encountered and somehow they are all running silicon valley (where I live) so they must not be as placid and inept as we'd like to think. It's just an odd affect of this generation of "professionals". Some linguist may have an explanation for the off putting banality they seem to evoke. It's not just her. the movie oops film haha sounds amazing. ill see it. so will a boatload of other ney sayers like me. Good for her. Ignore us kid. We're just old and cranky like Oscar. On our way out of power and getting a bit mean over it.
Gee, the film maker needs to explain her film better. If it weren't for the host we wouldn't know jack about these six boys. I mean she wouldn't even give these guys ages. She couldn't even give a favorite moment. Then she sounded so unsure, her voice was just above a mumble. Then the clip – omigosh – they couldn't find a more interesting clip to hook us with?
The doc must be worthwhile since it won whatever it won.

i also noticed they showed only 5 of the brothers most of the time
I am sure the movie will be great but the Fim Maker comes over as not that bright, inarticulate and way out of her depth on this show.
