I have only now begun to dive into the music of the Grateful Dead. I really love the Beatles, Queen, Simon and Garfunkel, The Mamas and the Papas, America, Sting, The Smiths, which all vary in styles. Idk why it took me so long to get into the Grateful Dead!!! AMAZING ALBUM!!! (this is the second one I've listened to so far, the first being American Beauty)
Just the most nutritionally complete music in my opinion. Perfect blend of blues, bluegrass, rock, country, boogie. Epitomizes americana for me. Thanks so much for posting– needed it today!
I just LOVE every single one of you !!! (in the comment section) It is impossible (in my mind) to love this music and not be a great and smart person!!!
I have found my favorite Grateful Dead album. This one is spectacular.

This is their best… material, diverse selection of songs, show their chops in every way…possibly at their prime as musicians!

This is the album that made me a Grateful Dead fan.
Gonna sit back "fill the pipe" and pretend that it's 1974…..
Guaranteed to put you in a good mood. Great Dead album.
Really great album to just kick back on and let everything go to pot!
Jam session… Bass guitar with The Grateful Dead!!!!!!!!!!!
Phil is my favorite musician ever!! Just listen to what the bass guitar is doing in each song dammit!!!!
I have to thank you for this one! I've really enjoyed the listen. It took me back! Isn't there another album that had warf rat on it?

Just love Phils bass sound…never bettered
Anyway the wind blows, Bertha is a fan.
Thank you so much for this! It's my youth revisited! Warf rat was always one of my favorite songs.
I believe this album represents the Grateful Dead's foray into Americana music, a trip that would make them "the world's greatest band".
